Rory is a skilled researcher with experience in education, public health and defence. Rory believes that the three key attributes to successfully conduct research in the field is adaptability, patience and the ability to create rapport with people from all walks of life.
Rory has worked with not-for-profits on issues relating to refugees, women’s empowerment, sports development, nutrition, drug and alcohol abuse, gang violence and high-school discontinuation.
Rory’s research interest include how social capital can explain health behaviours in adolescents and how sports diplomacy is measured.
Rory is passionate about social change and using business innovation to tackle complex social problems and inequalities. His recent experience has looked at how charities can scale their impact by adopting a business approach to finance operational growth and sustainability.
